"And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God." -- Acts 19:8
A successful salesperson won't just show the product and step back. They give a thorough presentation and will offer answers to any questions or concerns. They seek, with fervor, to persuade someone to purchase their product.
Paul was not selling Jesus, but he was seeking to lead others to trust the Lord as Savior. He knew their eternity depended on their decision. He "spoke boldly, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God".
When you tell others about the Lord, are you filled with zeal my friend? Is it as important as the sale is to a salesperson? No, it is far more important! We are seeking the souls of those whose eternity depend on their trust in Christ. Be bold, reason and persuade with all your heart for all their heart!
