"And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, 'My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.'" - Matthew 26:39
You may remember an occasion during your school years when you requested a class cut. You had other plans, but the professor made it clear that the day you requested was necessary to pass the final exam. You attended the class to pass the course.
Jesus saw the path before Him and the course was overwhelming and agonizing. His request was understandable. But the way of the cross was necessary to achieve the final goal... payment for our sin. (Leviticus 17:11) He stayed the course to save our souls.
Divine goals are always bigger than you realize my friend. The challenge for tomorrow may be extremely difficult. You may want out or request another path to follow, but remember, God's plan is always best.

What Does Psalm 25:10 Mean?
