"The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place..." -- Revelation 1:1 

When my sons were born, I knew the days would soon arrive for them to be out on their own serving the Lord. The years have passed so very quickly and we're living those days with great joy. While I am talking about 36 and 32 years respectively, they were not long at all, with the realization of great expectations.

When the word "soon" is read there are skeptics that believe these events should have already come to pass. There are also those who seek to spiritualize the passage and suggest it already happened over time in the hearts of believers. But the word is quite simple in its meaning and filled with great expectations.

As the years pass for you my friend, are you filled with hope? Does the revelation of Jesus Christ make the time pass quickly? Are you living with your heart and mind focused on the future? Soon and very soon, we're going to see the King. So live your life with great expectations.
