"And they sang a new song: 'You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.'" -- Revelation 5:9-10
The atonement of our Savior is such a great blessing. Through the
shed blood of Jesus, we are ransomed from the bondage, guilt and condemnation
of our sin. We are lifted up from every corner of the globe,
from every people group and given the privilege to reign with our
Savior. This blessing is nothing short of a miracle, and
it's freely given to all who will believe.
When the Lord blesses His people, He does "more
abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within
us" (Ephesians 3:20) As we rejoice in such goodness, may we join
the twenty-four elders of chapter four and cast the crowns of our lives before
the throne of God and give Him all glory and honor and power. There
is no question my friend... He is worthy of our very best!!
